Handcrafted in New Mexico exclusively for Dixon Rand. In a very limited edition release, shearling and suede are pieced and transformed into a crossbody bag.
We were inspired by the Wooly Chaps popular with 1800s Wild West show performers and Western artists. (The renowned Western artist Frederic Remington created a bronze statue titled "Wooly Chaps," also known as "The Bronco Buster"). Wooly chaps are still popular today for reasons of practicality and showiness.
Featuring a mini fringe on the top edge and closed with suede ties. Knotted fringe sides and a suede boot. Interior cell phone pocket. Utilizing deadstock shearling from the 70s, this is a luxe repurposed style. Adjustable leather strap lined with a black satin moire.
Strap length: 24" (adjustable)
