Chain Stitch Patch- War Bonnet

The NOSTALGIC WEST. Channeling a romantic vision of Roadside stops for Curios,Cigar Store Indians, and the Lone Ranger, Dixon Rand creates a collection of objects and items that identify with times gone by.

Originally worn into battle, The War Bonnet is now primarily used for ceremonial occasions. They are seen as items of great spiritual and political importance, only to be worn by those who have earned the right and honour through formal recognition. We celebrate this treasured accessory as a tribute vs a point of cultural appropriation.

Hand crafted using a 100 year old vintage chainstitch machine. This patch uses old world techniques to create a truly unique item. This is a truly one of a kind find.

Trick out your jacket OR use multiple patches to create your own composition...go crazy!
