Chain Stitch Patch- Save California SMOKEY

The newest addition to our Smokey homage to the Firefighters and First Responders to the recent California tragedies. Smokey the Bear has stood for Fire Safety since the 40's; a symbol used by the American Forest Service to symbolize the danger of wildfires. Not just a cuddly bear but more of an institution, Smokey is one of our very limited edition releases.

The recent  fires in Southern California (Woolsey Fire) and in the northern part of the state (Camp Fire) have destroyed homes and displaced many who are still unable to return to their communities. Fire awareness and the devastation it causes is an important theme to all those affected. Dixon Rand is donating 30% of all Smokey product proceeds to the CCF Wildfire Relief Fund.

Crafted on a 100 year old vintage chainstitch machine, handmade in the U.S.A. This patch is great combined with other 'badges' to create a composition. Easy iron on application (add outline sewing for a more permanent application). Black, Cream, Brown, Tan, Blue and Gold embroidery on white scrim felt. Due to the handmade nature of this item, all pieces will vary slightly.
