Our favorite Cowboy shirt in the 'Bakersfield Sound' edition. The Bakersfield Sound is a country music genre developed in the mid-to late 1950s in and around Bakersfield, California. Bakersfield Country was a reaction against the slickly produced, string orchestra-laden Nashville sound...pulling the sound vibe from the banjo, pedal steel guitar, and fiddle.
We took inspiration from our favorite cowboy boots and created the ultimate Western Denim Shirt. Two front flap pockets with chainstitched embroidery, nickel rimmed pearl snaps, and an exaggerated back batman yoke. Crafted in a double black Japanese selvedge. Slim fit but not tight, long enough to tuck in and not have to worry about it coming untucked, with sleeves that don't hike up when you reached forward.
Handmade from start to finish with hand rolled flat felled seams and self stitching sewn on a vintage single needle machine. Overlocked hem with self stitching. Due to the made to order nature of this item, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
