Vintage Military Coverall- Southwest Gardner

Americana Revisited. A Vintage 50s Big Smith Coverall with original Chainstitch Embroidery creates a unique one of a kind garment. The original Big Smith company (founded in 1916) was located in the Midwest and staked its claim as a premier provider of workwear for decades. This amazing piece crafted from natural herringbone twill was found on one of our travels and in need of some care and attention to bring it back to life.

With an attached belt, covered front buttons and all snaps intact....we added Chainstitch Hits with the help of our pals at Psychic Stitch. Vines grow up from the waistband on the left front, and the entire Southwest Garden is stitched cross the back. A few small patches are accented with a chainstitch vine up the right leg. Deep front pockets and 2 back patch pockets. A very special collectible piece.
